About Mueller Memorial

HISTORY OF MUELLER MEMORIAL

Mueller Memorial Funeral & Cremation has been serving the Saint Paul community since 1946, when Al and Connie Mueller opened the original Mueller Mortuary on the corner of Maria and East 7th Street in St. Paul.  The original building exists to this day and is home to Metro State University's Fine Arts Studio.

In 1954, Mueller Memorial opened the Lake Mortuary on the corner of 3rd Street and Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake – updated several times this facility still serves the needs of White Bear Lake, Mahtomedi, Hugo, Birchwood and Vadnais Heights today through cremation, burial and funeral services.

Al Mueller realized the need for a larger, more updated facility to support the St. Paul community, and built the Parkway Chapel to replace the original building in 1964.

Though many changes have taken place over the years, our commitment to dignified, personal service – from pre-planning a funeral to facilitating a memorial service – has always been a key part of the Mueller standard.

An expert is always on call to answer your questions and give complete information on funeral and cremation costs.

Mueller Memorial is proud to be family owned by Scott Mueller. Scott Mueller is also a recognized funeral expert who is routinely called to present on cremation and burial topics and is an author of resources for grief support, funeral planning, and more.
