Elinor will always be remembered for her passion for gardening. Her garden was admired by all and even strangers walking by would stop to give their appreciation. She loved to draw, paint, travel, and take photographs. She was a dedicated Elvis fan. Elinor was the best cook and known for her exceptional pumpkin pie. She was a fabulous seamstress that could make a pattern cut from a newspaper. Family was most important to her. She was a very loving, kind, and generous lady that will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by daughter, Sheryl; parents, Henry and Victoria Ziehl; brother, Art. Survived by children, Holly, Ken (Bonnie), and Connie (Ted); beloved grandson, Ryan; brother, Clifford (Gloria); sisters, Barb (Earl) and Gwen; and many other relatives. There will be a gathering from 4:00-6:00PM on Monday, February 6, 2017 and service at 6:00PM at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. There will be a private interment for Elinor at a later date.
