Condolences

Condolence From: Kari and Lori Eklund
Condolence: Peter and family,
Our sympathies to you. We thought the world of Jim. He was a best friend to our parents and a special person in our lives and our daughters Britt and Kristina. Britt loved "playing school" with Jim and our dad when Jim visited my parents while they cared for her during the day. She was the teacher and dad and Jim were the students. Jim of course intentionally tried to be a bad/naughty student, so 4-year-old Britt would exclaim, "You're getting an F!" We love that two retired teachers took the time to play school with our little girl.

Dad and Jim had a lot of fun together, lining the baseball diamonds working for White Bear Rec. They also loved drinking Bloody Mary's!

We will miss Jim, but find comfort knowing that our parents are together again, laughing and sharing old times.

Gods peace to you.

Condolence: Mr. Hits was my favorite teacher in 7th grade. It was his first teaching and because of the construction at the HS the 7 grade class had taken over the Washington school. We all thought he was so good looking.....plus a great history teacher. Years later he was so faithful to all the WB Basketball games. We loved having a beer at the American Legion with him. He will be missed.

Condolence: My sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Gits. Mr. Gits was my 7th grade history teacher, way back in the early 1980's, at Central Junior High. He was an awesome teacher! I have many fond memories of his class. I also remember seeing him at the WB Public Library, reading in the periodicals section.

God bless Mr. Gits, and all of you!

Condolence: Peter and Lezlie,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I have such fond memories of Uncle Jim. I am sorry I didn't make an effort to see him these many years, I always wished we were closer. I would love to attend a memorial if you choose to have one.
Take care,
Diane
