Obituary for Scott Christian Reinke

SCOTT CHRISTIAN REINKE

Age 60 of White Bear Lake
Formerly of Arden Hills
“Here’s the Deal…”

Scott was born on March 19, 1957 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was the eldest of three sons born to Joan (nee Lover) and Glen Reinke. He graduated from Kellogg High School and continued his education at the University of Minnesota and Dunwoody Institute.

He met the love of his life, Tammy Woznick, in Longville, MN. They were married on July 22, 1978 at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church by Pastor R. Hedberg and Fr. Mike Paquette of St. Odilia Catholic Church.

He was a loving husband to Tammy, devoted father to their four children, Michael, Lex, Annie, and Kristen, and “Papa” to Jasmine and Jaden. Scott’s career included positions as Global Operations Director at ADC Telecom, and currently, as Senior Project Manager of Store Design Services at SuperValu, Inc.

Above all, Scott’s family was the focus and pleasure of his life. Going to his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, taking family trips, golfing with his sons, working on yard projects (recently, his backyard waterfall and pond), and spending time with Tammy were his favorite things to do.

On the morning of April 30, 2017, Scott passed away at his home surrounded by his children and grandchildren, in the loving arms of his wife. He endured a rare form of brain cancer while fully accepting “God’s divine will.” He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Reinke; and his mother-in-law, Mereece Woznick. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Tammy Reinke; his children, Michael Reinke, Lex Reinke, Annie (Eric) Reinke-Tauscheck, and Kristen Reinke; his grandchildren, Jasmine and Jaden Anderson; his Mother, Joan Reinke; his siblings, Paul (Carol) Reinke and Chris (Mickie) Reinke; his father-in-law, Deacon Greg Woznick; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Bruce and Cindy Hamond, Dawn Maloney, and Bear Woznick; and many other family and friends.

There will be a gathering for friends and family from 3:00-7:00PM on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with a sharing of memories at 6:00PM led by Pastor Greg Grimstad of Eagle Brook Church.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake, with a Mass of Christian Burial led by Fr. Ralph Talbot with a visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.
