Age 84
Formerly of White Bear Lake, MN died peacefully at Brookdale Memory Care Center in North Oaks, MN on May 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Pallmer B. Anderson, oldest son Gregg Robert Anderson of Houston, TX and Grandson Timothy Lyons of Shoreview, MN.

Pallmer and Lorraine met in Willmar, MN. They made their home in White Bear Lake for over 50 years raising their family. Kay Lyons (John) of Shoreview, MN, Thomas Anderson (Robin), Mequon, WI, Mark Anderson (Martha), Woodbury, MN. 11 Grandchildren: Christopher Anderson, Marie Anderson, Tara Leever, Nick Anderson and Jarrod Taylor, Michael and Taylor Lyons, Clayton and Addie Anderson, Ella and Turner Anderson, and Great Grandchildren: Briton Leever Jr., Carly, Chloe and Madison Anderson. She was also survived by her brother Jerry Pierre and her sisters Carrolle Serbus, Judy Pierre, Lois Dreher, and Janice Moren.

After obtaining her X-Ray Technician certification in St. Paul, MN, Lorraine moved to Willmar working for a hospital as an X-Ray Technician. She later moved to White Bear Lake and stayed home to raise her four children.

Lorraine loved to sew and she was always sewing for herself, her kids or someone else. She worked for herself and others sewing drapes. She was also good at reupholstering furniture and refinishing furniture. She loved cooking and entertaining friends and family and everyone benefited from her homemade fudge brownies, bars, cookies and birthday cakes. Because of her love for baking, her grandchildren called her "grandma cookie". She was an awesome grandma and cherished her grandchildren. Lorraine volunteered a lot. Brownie leader, girl scout leader, and religion teacher.

Lorraine’s family would like to thank Brookdale Memory Care Center and Hospice staff for taking such wonderful care of Lorraine.

A memorial service and visitation will be held on Friday July 14, 2017 in Oakdale, MN at Guardian Angels Church. A visitation will start at 12:30 pm followed by a service at 1:30 pm. Lunch will follow the service at Guardian Angels church.
