Died June 9, 2017 in Woodbury, MN
Della passed away at St. Therese of Woodbury after a brief illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Adelheid; husband of over 50 years, Benno Edmund; brothers, Albert, Hugo, Alois, and Leo; granddaughter, Ana Christine; and grandson, Michael William.
She is survived by her sister, Zita; children, Ronald (Tammy), Christine, Tom, Mike, and Carla (Joe); grandchildren, Ben (Jill), Ryan (Heather), Anja (Dirk), Angela, Erika (Wes), Kaitlin, Jasmine, Mack, Jake, Nick, Ashley, Milo, and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Sophia, Mitchell, Christian, and Skip; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Church of St. Peter, 2600 Margaret St. N, North St. Paul, with visitation two hours prior to Mass at church. Note: parking lot is not available for vehicles, those needing to be dropped off should go to the WEST DOOR on Margaret Street. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
A special thanks to the staff of St. Therese of Woodbury and her hospice nurses, Jill and Amy, for their exceptional care of Della and her family during their final days together.
