Obituary for Dan Duane Trumble

Dan Duane Trumble
Dan Duane Trumble

Age 69 of White Bear Lake

Dan was born on September 13, 1947 to Pat (nee Swanson) and Duane Trumble. While at Harding High School, he met the love of his life, Sheila Marie Sullivan. He entered the United States Army after graduation and married Sheila on May 25, 1973. They eventually moved from the East Side of St. Paul to White Bear Lake with their two children, Katie and Rick. For over 38 years, Dan worked at Anchor Block Company and retired as a sales manager. When he was not working, Dan could be found fishing, golfing, gardening, or enjoying Bald Eagle Lake. Although he did not like to be the center of attention, he was very social and enjoyed getting involved with different leagues and groups. He had a unique sense of humor and witty little sayings, which will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dan is preceded in death by his father, Duane Trumble; and his brother, Steve Trumble. He will be missed by his wife, Sheila Trumble of White Bear Lake; his mother, Pat Trumble of Maplewood; his children, Rick (Katie) Trumble of St. Paul, and Katie (Jeremiah) Yernberg of Blaine; his brother, Don (JoAnn) Trumble of Merrifield; his sister, Linda (Matt) Follmer of St. Paul; his sister-in-law, Cindy Trumble of St. Paul; and many other family and friends.

There will be a gathering to celebrate Dan’s life from 1-4PM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake, with an informal sharing of memories at 4PM. There will be a private interment with military honors for Dan on his birthday at Union Cemetery of Maplewood.
