Condolence: I worked with Dennis at MCES for 7 years or so and had the honor of sharing a lunch table with him. We exchanged news papers as we read through them, and got to know him pretty well. He brought me delicious smoked salmon from Lake Michigan and I gave him garden tomatoes and cookies my wife made. We shared lots of laughs and stories about fishing, Fords, life and family. He had this sometimes gruff, and a little cranky exterior, that the people who didn't know him probably couldn't see through. But as he opened up about his wife, family and grandkids, his face lit up like a Christmas tree with a grin a mile wide. A real gentle giant with a heart as big as the sun! A good man who loved his wife, family and grandkids dearly. My thoughts and prayers Debbie to you and all your family.
