This Book of Memories memorial website is designed to be a permanent tribute paying tribute to the life and memory of Ernie Reimann. It allows family and friends a place to re-visit, interact with each other, share and enhance this tribute for future generations. Obituary for Ernie Reimann

Ernie Reimann
Ernest G. Reimann (age 89) of Arden Hills, Minnesota died peacefully on August 30, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Gustav and Emma Reimann; and sister, Louise. Survived by his wife, Pat Reimann; sons, Ron (Nancy) and Bill; grandchildren, Bradley, Lisa, and Kylie; and many other family and friends.

Ernie was born in Evanston, Illinois, graduated from Niles Township high school. He served in the Army’s 5250th Technical Intelligence Unit in the occupation of Japan. He graduated from Northwestern University and played on their baseball team.

After graduation he sold industrial supplies and machine tools for The Satterlee Company in Minneapolis, then became sales manager for The Bossert Division of W.W. Grainger, and then for Abrasive Specialists. He never missed a day of work for 46 years!

He and his wife Pat loved boating on their yacht, the Comradery III, on the St. Croix River. He was a 49 year member of the St Paul Sail and Power Squadron, the last living charter member of the Pool & Yacht Club in Lilydale, and a past commodore of the St. Croix Yacht Club where he was a member for over 49 years.

Ernie was proud of his two sons, and spent many years with them and his beloved wife Pat fishing from their fish house on Mille Lacs Lake and snowmobiling in northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Montana.

There will be a gathering for family and friends from 4-8PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue in White Bear Lake, with a service at 7PM. Interment and military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

Memorials preferred to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
