This Book of Memories memorial website is designed to be a permanent tribute paying tribute to the life and memory of Phyllis Larson. It allows family and friends a place to re-visit, interact with each other, share and enhance this tribute for future generations. Age 89 of White Bear Lake
Passed Away on September 1, 2017

Phyllis was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 19, 1928. She was the daughter of Margaret and Orville Keller. In her early years, she was known as "Dolly" to relatives. Following her graduation from Harding High School she met her husband, Leonard Larson. They had three sons together and raised them in White Bear Lake. Those in the community will remember Phyllis as the Director of Transportation for the White Bear Lake School District. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and lived out her faith in her generous devotion to family and friends. Outside of work and family, Phyllis loved to play bridge, volunteer with friends, and laugh with her grandchildren. She made a lasting impression on every person who met her. She was a very strong woman who was full of life.

Phyllis passed away on September 1, 2017 at The Gathering at Boutwell’s Landing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Larson; her grandson, Brian Larson; her parents, Margaret and Orville Keller; her sister, Ruth Sovig; and her brother, Robert Keller. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Scott (Sue) Larson of Burnsville, MN, Todd (Sue) Larson of Lake Mills, WI, and Mark (Kathy) Larson of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Kristin (Seth) Kveno, Daniel (Amy) Larson, Kerri (Dan) Rozdzialowski, Janna (Dan) Granger, Callie (Brady) Boyd, Joel Larson, Peter Larson, and granddaughter-in-law, Erin Larson; her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Lauren, Claire, August, Violet, Charlotte, and Ron; and many other family and friends.

There will be a visitation for family and friends Friday, September 8 at 10AM with service to follow at 11AM and luncheon after. All at Redeemer Lutheran Church 3770 Bellaire Ave., White Bear Lake. Family will have a private interment at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mendota Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to HealthEast Hospice, 6025 Upper 35th St N, Oakdale, MN 55128, or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
