Loving Mother, Grandmother
Friend and Prayer Warrior
Born May 5, 1941 and re-located to heaven on September 27, 2017 to join her parents Myron & Beverle Ekblad. Survived by children Kris (Brandon) Mundinger and Dan (Kerri) Raasch; grandson Jacob Spies; sister Sue Powers (Bill); brother Tom Ekblad (Peggy) and special friend Mike Hyland; many other family members and friends. Gerry was a fun and loving mother who enjoyed nature, photography, loved spending time with her grandson and eating a crisp SweetTango apple. Gerry had a strong personal relationship with her Lord & Savior and loved praying for others. Service Tuesday (October 3) at 11:00 am at VICTORY CELEBRATION FAMILY CHURCH, 3000 Hamline Avenue, Roseville. Visitation Monday (October 2) from 4-7:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway and one hour before the service on Tuesday at church. Interment will be private.
