Crea,

Shirley’s Life spanned ten decades and she will be remembered for her love and joy in family and friends. She made it to her 97th birthday two months ago and thought it might not be bad to reach 100, “After all it would be just three more years”.
Shirley left us on October 3, 2017 with her family at her side at the Marion Center where she resided the last seven years.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony (Todo) J. Crea, her grandchildren Heather Leigh Salisbury Frisone, and Marc Nicholas Salisbury, her beloved siblings and in-laws, Alvina and Will Johnson, Mary Ella and Joe Renner, Guido and Doris Giesenheyner, and Joan and Ops Erickson, and her many nieces and nephews from the Crea and Cotroneo families.
Shirley will be greatly missed by her children: Kathleen Salisbury Crea, Anthony (Tony) J. Crea, Jr., (Mary), Noella Buchmayer, (Mark); her grandchildren; Anthony (Tony) Salisbury, (Amy), James (Jim) Crea, Mathew Crea, (Melissa), Michelle Crea Tapley, (Brian), Nicollet, Charles, and Marco Buchmayer; her great grandchildren; Nicholas & Christian Frisone, Heather Salisbury, Mikaela Tapley, and Ellie & ? Crea. In addition, her nephew Louis Cotroneo and her multitude of nieces and nephews to the magnitude of great, and great, great nieces and nephews, and friends. Obviously Shirley was a great lady.
Shirley worked for over 20 years at Greetings Unlimited and was responsible for the advertising/statistical area of the company. She was active in the Columbian Women and the Lady Jaycees in her younger years and was an active member with ‘Todo’ at St. Patrick’s, St. Ambrose, and The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The family would like to thank all the staff and caregivers for Shirley over the years at the Marian Center especially those over the last two years for their love and care.
