Age 100 of St. Paul, Minnesota
Previously of Roswell, New Mexico
Josephine was born on February 21, 1917 in Stillwater, Minnesota. She attended school until the 9th grade. She met the love of her life, Everil J. Thiel, and they were married on February 12, 1938. Josephine did various housework jobs but her main focus was raising her three children. After they left home, she worked for the State of Minnesota and for Federal Cartridge in St. Paul. Josephine was a great cook, she enjoyed playing cards, sewing, and gardening. She was a dedicated member of St. Anne’s Church in White Bear Lake. When Everil retired, they moved to Roswell, New Mexico because they loved the weather and the area. Her sense of humor will always be remembered by those who knew her. Josephine was a genuine sweetheart and was very friendly to everyone.
Josephine is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Schieber; her step-father, Scott Nadeau; her husband, Everil Thiel; her sister, Marion Lutz; and her brothers, Harry and Thomas Nadeau.
Josephine will be dearly missed by her three children, Judith “Judy” (Thomas) Bielke of Oakdale, MN, Joanie (Art) Potts of Scandia, MN, and Jeral (Shirley) Thiel of Roswell, New Mexico; her grandchildren, Shelly, Sherri , Terry Lynn, Lisa, Michael, Patty, Julie, Jason, and Chris; many great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday (October 13) at 11AM at ST. ANNE'S CHURCH, 2445 County Road E, White Bear Lake. Visitation Thursday (October 12) 4-8PM at MUELLER MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with Rosary at 8PM. Burial at St. Michael's Cemetery in Bayport after Mass.
