Obituary for Stephen Jerome Lindemer

Stephen Jerome Lindemer was born in St. Paul, MN on June 7, 1956 to Marlene and John Lindemer. Stephen died peacefully at home on December 22, 2017.

Steve was an amazing father to Kyle (Lisa) of Madison, WI and Clinton (Elizabeth) of Westminster, MD and loved being the grandfather of Emma, Julia, and Sebastien. Steve is survived by his mother, Marlene, sisters Rebecca Koshenina (Peter), Julia Lindemer, Vicki Lindemer, brother John (Barb), numerous nieces and nephews, and Mary Anderson, mother of his children. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, John Sr., brother Bruce, and sister Cynthia.

Steve loved his feline companions and is deeply missed by Cleo and Chester. He was a Mad Scientist that always entertained the children with his magic tricks. He loved to tell jokes, both good and bad, but always got a laugh. He enjoyed fishing with his boys, and even thought standing in a canoe was a good idea. He was a lover of music, good beer, bad beer, but especially free beer. Steve only had one hateful bone in his body, and that was for Donald Trump. He truly hated that guy.

A Celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at Blackstack Brewery, 755 Prior Avenue North, St. Paul, MN 55104. Everyone is welcome, including children. Please come with your best Steve stories, jokes, and magic tricks.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul Animal Humane Society in his honor.
