Sally Jane Pitman, (nee O'Brien)

Age 68, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from recently diagnosed brain tumors (Glioblastoma). Preceded in death by her parents Volnie and Ethel O’Brien. Sally will be deeply missed by her husband of 46 years Jan; her children Ryan (Tina); Geoffrey (Corinna Backstrom); her grandchildren Tate (9), Scarlett (7), Violet (3) Pitman and Joshua Backstrom (15). She is survived by her family and her sisters Sharon (Ike) Halliwill of East Gull Lake; Gloria (Mort) Bostrom of Roseville; brother-in-law Keith (Carolyn) Pitman of Sylacauga Alabama; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, January 5 at First Ev. Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood Ave., Maplewood MN 55109. Visitation Thursday, January 4, 4:00-7:00pm, Mueller Memorial of WBL, 4736 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110; and one hour prior to memorial service at the church. Memorials preferred.
