Condolences

Condolence From: Art and Sue Fasoli
Condolence: I first met Jim when I became transportation mgr.for the Dayton Hudson Department Stores. Having been a merchant all my life, and new to the nuances of transportation, Jim helped me learn the business and introduced me to knowledgeable people to help further my career. Jim and Linda became special friends and this friendship has continued for the 20 years since my retirement. Sue and I will truly miss Jim, his great wit, his direct approach to life and his sparkling smile. We will miss you, dear friend, but we know that your angel, Linda, who was at your side during difficult times, will carry on. We Extend our sympathy to Linda and the family.

Condolence From: Coni Vander Aarde
Condolence: I had the privilege of knowing Jimmy and spending time with him on some incredible motorcycle trips. Our travels took us from the four corners of this great country and always ended up in Sturgis, SD...usually surrounded by many friends wearing gold t-shirts with "Hamsters" on them. He was one of a kind and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to Linda and the family!

Condolence From: Mike and Sue Quinn
Condolence: I knew Jim as a fellow motorcycle rider. He invited us, about twenty years ago, to join him on the annual Sturgis ride in South Dakota. I have been making the trek to South Dakota every year since then. Jim would also join us on our summer rides thru Northern Michigan. Out west, Jim would lead the rides thru the Black Hills, the canyons, and around the cities of Sturgis, Deadwood, and Rapid City, and Sundance and Hewlett in Wyoming. He knew his way around South Dakota and the people that got to know him considered him their friend. Jim had a quick wit, a good sense of humor and, at times, a sharp tongue. You know where you stood with Jim. He especially liked stopping in at the B & B bar in Spearfish. Jim would order a Coke and people watch as the bikers and some of the Hells Angels would come and go. A fun guy to hang out with, Jim you will truly be missed. Sue and I extend our condolences to you, Linda, and to the whole Jim O'Brien clan.
