Born August 4, 1924 and passed away on May 27, 2018. Preceded in death by husbands William Kemmer and Robert Harrington; brother Donald Sellers; and parents Harvey and Freda Sellers. Beloved mother of Janet Kemmer, Mark (Karen) Kemmer, and Patty (Rob) Porter. Grandmother of Timothy (Melissa) and Mark Jr (Irena). Great Grandmother of Meg, Ethan, Lois, Riley, Rhys. Sister-in-law to Frances Sellers, Janet Kemmer. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Virginia’s life focused on her love for learning, music, and her family. She played and taught piano and performed in various choral groups throughout her life. She loved reading, going to broadway and theater shows and concerts, traveling, and working jigsaw puzzles. Private family interment will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette, IN. The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Waverly Gardens for the wonderful care provided to Virginia during her final few months. Memorials are preferred to the MN Landscape Arboretum.
