Loving Mother and Nana.

Pat was born in England on September 15, 1925, the only child of Dorothy “Dolly” and Joseph Pritchard. She was a school secretary in St. Paul for 25 years during which time she became a member of the MN Association of Educational Professionals (MAEOP). She served on several committees and as president during her 50+ years as an active member. In 1989, Gov. Perpich declared April 20th as Pat McChesney Day.

Pat spent winters in AZ where she played shuffleboard and bridge. She was also an avid reader and traveler. Pat is preceded in death by two husbands, James Plumbo and Wendell “Mac” McChesney; and daughter, Carole Anne Fargo. She is survived by her daughter, Hedrin (Bill) Rock; stepsons, Wendell (Jean) McChesney and Randy (Linda) McChesney. Nana to grandsons, Sea Atwood, Brandon Fargo, and Erin Fargo; great-grandma to Alex and Audrey Atwood, and Laylah Fargo.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM on Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake with visitation from 10-11AM. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please support Pat's passion for education by making a donation to the White Bear Lake School District.
