Janet was born on May 7th, 1955 to Celine and Warren Peters in Superior, WI. In 1976 she Married Robert (Bob) Anderson where they lived in Superior, WI until 2005. They lived in Webb Lake, Wisconsin for 11 years where they enjoyed weekends with family and the occasional fish fry. In 2017, they moved to Hugo Minnesota to be closer to family.

Her love is carried on by her husband Robert Anderson, her children: Rob (Melissa) Anderson, Elyse (Ryan) Sienko; grandchildren: Bowen Anderson; Emmie Sienko, Michael Sienko, and “My” Eddy Sienko; siblings: Joyce Kronenberg, Ken Peters, and Kate (Rod) Steen; father in-law Edward Robert (E.R.) Anderson. She enjoyed caring for and playing with her grandchildren, including many games of slapjack and cribbage, gardening, baking banana bread, and reading a good book. She inspired in her children a love for campfires, nature, and gardening. Our mom was kind, strong, and never complained.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Celine, her sister and cribbage partner, Marian Wolden and sister Peg Lundquist, brother Jim Peters, and mother in-law Shirley Anderson.
