Jay Alan Conrow, 59, passed away January 6, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Born and raised in Southern California, Jay graduated from Rolling Hills High School, then began training and working as a machinist. He moved to Minnesota a few years ago to further his career. Jay was a problem solver, deep thinker and faithful believer with a quick wit, caring heart and an incomparable smile. There was nothing he couldn’t build, restore or fix, including classic cars, motorcycles and tractors. He had a love and gift for working with his hands, and for the past few years he enjoyed life on his farm in North Branch, Minnesota with his partner and best friend, Kathy. Jay was a talented pianist and singer. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by many, including his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jessica; dad Jerry and Jerry’s wife, Jan; brothers Todd and Scott; Aunt June and Uncle John; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jay’s family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society in his memory. Plans for a celebration of Jay’s life are pending.
