Condolences

Condolence From: John Miller
Condolence: My sympathy to the Vizanko family. I joined Univac in 1958 and as a young engineer was very fortunate to work with Don. His management style was one to copy. I wonder how many times I heard "Big John, let's have a cup of coffee". On the way to the coffee room, my thoughts were, 'what does he want/need now?" Whether it was a new opportunity or a problem that needed immediate attention, his demeanor was always the same, very positive and let's get'er done. I am sure there were times when he was upset; but if so, it was not apparent in the discussion. I suppose his experience in WW II was a factor in this mature approach to problems. But more than that I think it was his personality; a very positive, caring and sensitive person. He was a great example for me and others to follow. It served me well in my later pursuits.
Thank you and God bless the Vizanko family.

Condolence From: Tad Moore
Condolence: A Great Man has passed. I can say, without hesitation, that Buzz Vizanko was a wonderful and caring individual. He would always go out of his way to include me in Family activities. I especially enjoyed our times driving around Washburn and hearing the stories of his antics with my Father-in Law - Dick Vizanko. His friendship added a great deal to all around him.
