Obituary for Jared J Frey

Jared Jedidiah Frey
Born February 12, 1990 and passed away March 2, 2021 at the age of 31 years. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Bonnie Frey and step-brother Ryan Lockhart. Survived by parents Cindy Frey-Sletten and Tim Frey; brothers Joshua (Esther) and Jordan (Denae); nieces Sophia & Hazel and nephew Timothy; grandparents Ralph & Veronica Sletten; many aunts, uncles and cousins and his devoted canine companion Dixie. Private family service.

As we who love Jared know, he has struggled for some time. Many family and friends tried to help him, even though he said and did things that were very hurtful to those same people. Cindy and I along with his brothers Josh and Jordan hope those same people can remember the kind caring person Jared was before his greatest struggles began and remember that’s why we were so willing to help him.

We are grateful to know that Jared’s struggles are over and he can rest in peace.

When he was healthier, Jared was a very talented hard-working person. He was never afraid to take on a project. Even projects that he had never done before he could make look like he had been doing them all of the time. That’s true except for his karaoke singing, which was definitely not his best talent. But he would grab the microphone and sing and have fun; and sometimes even got his Dad up front as well. Jared also had a love for the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.

Jared’s K9 buddy Dixie was usually by his side. She will be taken care of by Jordan & Denae, who also have Dixie’s sister Tula.

We will remember Jared as a loving brother and son. He will always be his Dad’s little Buddy.
He will always be in our hearts and memories.
Love Dad, Mom, Josh and Jordan
