Local Current Grief Support Group Programs

When You Need Some Support - Fall 2018

If you're looking for some understanding and guidance for your grief, then you may want to consider joining a local grief support group. One of the best benefits of participating in groups such as these is simply knowing that you are not alone. Those we list here are current local groups that are meeting in the Twin Cities North Metro, or in the Northeastern suburbs and this spring we are hosting a faith-based GriefShare group right from our White Bear Lake location.

GriefShare - A 13-week series meeting on Saturday mornings beginning September 8th 2018 from 8:30-10:30am at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.

After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you you may need some support.

Often friends and family want to help you but don't know how. That's the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have felt much of what you're feeling now.

No two grief expreiences are the same, but our leaders, Sue Budion and Cindy Lannon, will help guide you along path through grief toward healing, hope for the future, and just feeling normal again.

GriefShare is a nondenominational grief support group that features biblical concepts for healing your grief and will meet on Saturdays from Sept. 8th - Dec. 8th, 2018 8:30am-10:30am.

There is a one-time $20 materials fee which covers all 13 weeks of the program. Each session is self-contained so you can join in at any time but sign up is required so we have materials available for you.
