Planning a Funeral with Mueller

The funeral is an important step toward healing – not only for yourself, but for everyone who is affected by the loss. There are a number of things to consider when putting someone’s final arrangements in place. At St. Paul funeral home Mueller Memorial, we are honored to be given the opportunity to help guide  you through the process of making these important decisions.

Which type of service will help you and your loved ones heal?

Having friends and family around you at a difficult time is one of the first steps in the healing process. The recognition you offer at the time of someone's death really sets the framework for the survivor's grief moving forward. Having a meaningful and sincere goodbye is key in beginning the natural process of grieving.

Whether you prefer a church-centered funeral with a viewing or a custom service with caterers, we at Mueller Memorial want to help you make the right decisions for you, your family and friends, and most of all, for the memory of the person you're celebrating.

Too often, people choose a fast service with little time for remembering a life lived. Having a memorial service with time to say goodbye and proper measures in place to ensure that your loved one is remembered now and in the future is important, not only for your healing, but for others as well.

Just imagine: Fifteen years from now, the next generation will be able to get acquainted with your lost friend or family member thanks to the Book of Memories memorial tribute pages Mueller Memorial provides.  Click here to learn more.

Working Together

The Mueller Family began providing funeral and cremation services to the St. Paul, MN area beginning in 1946. Scott has been working as a funeral service professional for over 35 years. We know funerals, and you know the person being celebrated. By working together, we can help you plan a funeral that will pay a fitting tribute to the unique life lived.

We can provide a "funeral checklist" and guide you through the decisions that need to be made – but the choices are absolutely up to you. You can choose where, when and how to hold the service. You can choose the music you want played, the prayers that you may want recited, and the special, personal touches that will help you honor a life in a unique and personal way. You make the decisions, and leave the follow-through to us.

The Funeral Ceremony

If you would like to share this moment with your broad network of family and friends, we will help you spread the word. We’ll use our print and online channels to bring the community together to celebrate your loved one’s life.

You can choose to hold your ceremony in one of our elegant but comfortable great rooms, or you can choose to hold it elsewhere. We're here to help you get what you want.

Burial Services

If you’ve chosen to have your family member or friend buried, you may want the casket present at the service. Many people choose to hold a viewing prior to the service. Whichever option you choose, we will work with you to ensure that you have every opportunity to bring family and friends together to say a final goodbye before the burial. What’s next?

While it’s important to think about the details of the service and how you’ll carry on the memory of your family member or friend, it’s just as important to involve others in the funeral planning decisions. We encourage you to bring family and friends together to discuss their needs and desires.
