Passed Away on August 24, 2014
Rose was preceded in death by Frank Urban, her beloved husband of 67 years; her daughter, Barbara Greatorex; her siblings, Joseph Kotefka, Eleanore Wegleitner, Ruth Yerke and Jerry Kotefka. Survived by her sisters, Florence Frandsen; children, Frank (Barb) Urban, John (Norella) Urban, Richard Urban/Nandisvara Ishaya, Rosemary (John) O’Neal and Don (Elaine) Clifford; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; many other family and friends. Rose had great devotion and trust in Jesus and Mary, who helped sustain her through the 103 years of her active life. “God Bless You” were three words that Rose said to everyone that visited and helped her. If a visitor replied, “God bless you too, Rose” then Rose would say, “He already did, He sent you.” The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Cerenity for their thoughtful caring of Rose during her years at the Marian Care Center. Also, thank you to the HealthEast Hospice staff for their wonderful contributions to the care of Rose during her last few days before her final journey. A celebration of Rose’s life will be during Mass at 10AM on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Marian Care Center Chapel, 200 Earl Street, St. Paul with a visitation 1 hour prior to the Mass at Cerenity. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
