Francisca Escobar Moreno “Doña Zoila”

Francisca was born in Santa Cruz Michapa, El Salvador on June 4, 1929. She married Jose Francisco Henriquez in San Salvador on March 1, 1965. They moved to California with their children and lived in Los Angeles. Francisca passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Christmas Day of 2016 after having a second stroke a week before. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Francisco Henriquez; and her son, Serafin Wilfredo Escobar. She will be dearly missed by her children, Saul de Jesus (son) & Imelda Escobar (Daughter in law), Pedro Reynaldo Escobar (son), Carmen (daughter) & Martin Sanchez (Son in law), Jose Francisco Henriquez (son), Zoila (daughter) and Alfredo Coto (Son in law); her grandchildren, Eduardo, Alex, JoAnne, Lesley, Peter, Tracy “Tety”, Jessica, Andrew “Andy”, Sandy, Anthony “Tony”, Melissa, Paco “Paquistillo”, Nicole “Nickie”, Kristopher Coto, and Julianna “Julie”. There will be committal prayers for Francisca on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. Those wishing to join for prayers should be at the main gate by 9:00 AM and we will formally process to the graveside.
