Condolence: Since I can remember, I was inspired by my cousin Kay. I was a few years younger than my cousins Kay Marie, Jan and Patty, and I always wanted to be like them. They were (& still are) beautiful, smart and self-assured. As we got older though, I came to admire Kay's strength and determination more than anything. She was able to take on whatever came in her life and whatever health challenges came her way. She was a fighter! She was determined to see her boys and grandchildren grow. My Mom & I are thinking of you all at this difficult time. To my Rukavina cousins, and to Michael and Tony, I pray that we all inherited the Finnish SISU that Kay Marie had an abundance of!

Condolence: My sister Kay Marie was an amazing, inspiring woman who battled cancer for over 8 years without complaint and did not let her disease define her as she led an active life until the stay at Southview. I will miss her and her amazing spirt so much but will cherish her memory and that upbeat spirit forever! I am so very grateful for that and having her as a sister for 60 plus years.
