Tom died while at home in Lake Havasu City, AZ . He was born in St. Paul, MN to Mario and Marcella Carbone. Tom graduated in 1963 and went to work for Boeing Corporation In Washington State before joining the family business in 1964.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Marcella Carbone; and step-brother, Jim Waldock. He leaves behind his fiancé, Joelene Steffens of Lake Havasu City, AZ and St. Paul, MN.; his 3 sons, Anthony (Debra) Carbone of Meggett, SC, Thomas Mario (Christine) Carbone of Inver Grove Heights, MN, and Andrew David Carbone of St. Paul, MN; his 4 grandchildren, Haley Carbone, Schyler (Brittany) Carbone, Logan Carbone, & April Carbone; his 3 great-grandchildren, Khloe, Emmily & Zoey Carbone; his brothers; Richard (Bev) Carbone, Jerry (Joan) Carbone, David (Alicia) Carbone, and Steve (Mary Kay) Carbone; and several nieces and nephews. Tom also leaves behind his extended family, Daniel (Andrea) Ring and Taylor, Troy, Michael (Kyla) & Wesley Ring.

There will be a gathering for family and friends from 1-4PM at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with a service led by Rev. Tony Perkins at 4PM.
