Loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many. Preceded in death by parents, Laura and John Patterson; son, DeWayne “Butch” Patterson; daughter, Juanita “Sis” Roberto; friend and former wife, Ruby; special friend, “Ellie”; sisters, Oleita Cook and Juanita Patterson; step brothers, Donald and Duane Jadwinski.
John is survived by sons, Tom (Greta) Patterson, Ross (Vicki) Patterson; daughters, Roxanne (Tom) Chojnowski, Patricia (Mike) Whalen; sister, Lois Wilson; 12 grandchildren, Tammy, Bobby, Mike, Missy, Danielle, Tony, Tina, Tricia, Lars, Alexandra, Gabrielle and Ross Jr; 22 great-grandchildren, Marty, Dominic, Josh, Brittani, Antonio, Jordan, Scott, Macy, Madi, Morgan, Roman, Micah, Caleb, Elijah, Adrianna, Joey, Kaden, Khloe, Paige, Payton, Lars IV and Lilly.
John barbered for 41 years, retiring from the St. Paul Athletic Club. He was a people person and loved to visit and share stories. He loved his family and he was deeply loved by them and will be forever missed.
Visitation Friday, June 1st from 5-6:30PM with a Memorial Service at 6:30PM. All at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul.
