Loving Husband
Age 93
Went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2018. Preceded in death by siblings Margaret Hanggi (Robert), Philip, Marie Caruso (Sam) and Lucille Vagnoni. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Kathleen “Kay”; sister-in-law Jane Vagnoni and many nieces, nephews and their families. Proudly served in the US Army during WWII and retired after 42 years with NSP. Bernie and Kay enjoyed many winters at their home in Arizona, golf and traveling. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 20th at 10:30 am at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway Street with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of Marion Care Center, Woodbury Care Center and HealthEast Hospice. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to donor’s choice.
