Peter and family, Our sympathies to you. We thought the world of Jim. He was a best friend to our parents and a special person in our lives and our daughters Britt and Kristina. Britt loved "playing school" with Jim and our dad when Jim visited my parents while they cared for her during the day. She was the teacher and dad and Jim were the students. Jim of course intentionally tried to be a bad/naughty student, so 4-year-old Britt would exclaim, "You're getting an F!" We love that two retired teachers took the time to play school with our little girl. Dad and Jim had a lot of fun together, lining the baseball diamonds working for White Bear Rec. They also loved drinking Bloody Mary's! We will miss Jim, but find comfort knowing that our parents are together again, laughing and sharing old times. Gods peace to you.
