Margaret, Thirteen plus years ago, I joined the Showalter family. With their welcoming and endearing kindness and love, I witnessed first hand God's handiwork here on earth. They were raised by a strong church foundation and faithfulness to God and each other. As written by Paul in a letter to the Church and its people, 1 Corinthians chapter thirteen, " and now let me show you the way, Love is..." Margaret showed us all the ways. I believe that our memories are a gift from God for those who are left behind. They bring us comfort, joy and laughter. They enable us to live forever the hearts of those we love. So, sleep gently Margaret in the arms of Jesus and all the other angels and animals called to bring you home. You were the best.

Mom I am the luckiest person in the world to have had you, as my Mom. You and Dad have been the compass in my life. You have guided me by the love that you have for each other and the patience you had with each one of us. The love and faithfulness to God has given me a foundation to live by. We were always encouraged to work hard and never be afraid to try. If I could be half the person you were Mom, I would shine like the brightest star in the sky. I will always be your Number Ten, your special Jerry Joe, who loved his raccoonie and peppermint chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake. I will miss you everyday until we meet again. I love you Mom.
